Using physical activity to support Covid recovery
At the end of the third lockdown, we asked Herefordshire schools to report any perceived changes in young people’s health and wellbeing. You can view the full infographic below, but some of the most concerning highlights include:
- 85% reported young people’s physical fitness as worse
- 67% reported young people’s fundamental movement skills as worse
- 73% reported a decline in young people’s resilience
- 60% reported young people had put on excessive weight during lockdown
