Walk to School
Walk to School is a programme of activities which supports schools to raise awareness of active travel with pupils and families. This could be to encourage:
- Increasing levels of physical activity
- Improving mental wellbeing
- Improving safety around the school gates
- Increasing awareness of environmental issues
With thanks to Herefordshire Council, we will continue to support schools through our FREE Walk to School programme up until February 2024. If you’re a school in Hereford city, one of the market towns, or are just simply committed to increasing the numbers of young people walking to school, please get in touch. We can provide free resources, lessons, assemblies and advice to help you raise awareness and create your own walk to school programme or initiative!
Take a look at our Walk to School impact report from 2022 for more information!
