We work young people and those who support them to demonstrate how physical activity can be used to achieve wider health and social outcomes for young people, such as improved mental wellbeing, better physical health or key life skills. We support schools to develop and deliver high quality PE, school sport and physical activity, so that every young person receives a positive experience.
Families play a crucial role in helping young people achieve their 60 active minutes each day. Our Active Families Co-ordinator supports families to identify activities that suit their needs and motivations. We help families build positive experiences of physical activity, be it through play, accessing local community provision, or doing something in the home.
We are hosting a free webinar for families to help keep your children active, or to get active as a family.
