What we do
We work with schools and organisations to demonstrate how physical activity can be used to achieve wider health and social outcomes for young people, such as improved mental wellbeing, better physical health or key life skills. We support schools in Herefordshire and beyond, that would like to deliver high quality PE, sport and physical activity, whilst also working with local community organisations to raise the profile of physical activity.
Physical activity to support Covid recovery
Herefordshire schools reported a decrease in fitness levels, resilience, fundamental movement skills and active minutes amongst young people following the last lockdown. We are working with schools to use physical activity as a means of promoting positive learning behaviours, building emotional resilience whilst achieving 60 active minutes.
Inspired to Move: Schools’ physical activity and wellbeing conference
Our schools’ physical and mental wellbeing conference will focus on how you can create and sustain a culture of everyday movement in your school.
