Partnerships

Working together

We value working in partnership with organisations from within and outside the sport and education sectors. Your organisation does not need to have worked in sport or education in order to partner with us; we have often found that the best partnerships come from organisations with different backgrounds but whose outcomes are shared!

Stride Active is proud to work with the following local and national partners:

Active Herefordshire & Worcestershire

One of our closest partners, we are commissioned to deliver the county School Games festivals and provide PE Premium support. We work together to share best practice and insight with the shared goal of increasing children’s activity levels.

Whitecross School

We are very fortunate to be hosted and supported by Whitecross School. We are able to use their fantastic facilities for events and competitions and Headteacher, Tim Knapp, is Chair of the School Games County Alliance.

Kington Primary School

One of our School Games Organisers is hosted by Kington Primary School, which also gives us a base in the north of the county. Kington’s Headteacher is also a member of the School Games County Alliance.

Imagine for Schools

Local partners and specialists in emotional resilience, we have teamed up with Imagine for Schools to co-create Emotions in Motion and deliver their Navigate programme.

Riverside Training

We work in partnership to deliver our PE Apprenticeship programme; as the main training provider, Riverside Training manage the qualification and employ course leader, Nick Ashton.

Create Development

We are a Create Development partner and work together to provide a range of values-based training and resources to schools, including real PE and real Gym. Peter Knight is a Create Development tutor for Herefordshire.

Herefordshire Council

We are funded via Herefordshire Council as part of its grant funding for the Covid-19 recovery plan, supporting economic recovery and improving wellbeing in Herefordshire. This supports Active Families, the School Re-Activate Grant & wider CPD for schools.
