School Games Dance Festival

Join us to celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Birmingham this summer!

This festival of dance will be an opportunity for children to show us their creative side with a performance that showcases the Commonwealth Games values of humanity, equality and destiny!

Each school will be given a country and a sport and will be asked to create a 5 min (max) dance performance.

Due to limited space, we are inviting 10 children from your school to perform. Children could come from years 3-6 (all from one or a mix). You may want to select the children and invite them to come along and take part. They could practice as part of a lunchtime club.

We want to engage children that would not normally be part of a school team, or take part in School Games activities. Please target those who are less confident in PE and sport and don’t get the opportunity to take part normally.
