Sessions are delivered by experts from their respective disciplines, which focus on disseminating important information, approaches or problems and providing tangible take-aways to implement in your school. 

Topic – ASSESSMENT IN PE

With the advent of the OFSTED 3 I’s in recent years we have seen an increased focus on assessment in PE. This Key Update session will focus on this topic and provide some starting points for schools.

We will look at:

• Why do we need to assess in PE? Looking at the drivers for assessment in PE
• How do we assess? A look at the methods of assessing in PE
• What do we assess? Identifying are the areas of pupil achievement that we want to focus on
• What do we do with the information? Identifying what we do with the information
