Anxiety in Children and Young People
FREE
This online webinar for teachers and teaching staff, will focus either dealing with a student’s anxiety or your own:
- what it is, how to recognise it and how it can affect children
- practical strategies to help manage it
We will be asking each person who registers to give us an example of how anxiety has affected them in the classroom and we will pull these together to give a bank of ideas of how these situations can be managed.
The session will be delivered by Lynn Carter – Quality and Professional Practice Manager at The CLD Trust, Herefordshire’s service for therapeutic mental health support for children, young people and families. www.thecldtrust.org
Lynn has been a qualified counsellor for 15 years and is also a qualified supervisor. Her work has covered a breadth of aspects including addiction, family work, abuse, self-harm, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.
This webinar is funded by MIND, the mental health charity.
